10-Year Agriculture Blueprint

The Chief Minister Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal launched the 10-year blueprint 2021-2030 in Nov 2019 with food security as its main agenda. The objective was to boost output and attract young entrepreneurs into the agricultural sector.

The plan of action covers crops, fisheries and livestock. This plan allows Sabah to address its dependency of food imports while uplifts agricultural industry as an important economical resource of Sabah.

MaSDa action plan on the durian industry was earlier presented to the Ministry of Agriculture and its SWAT analysis was referred to for the drafting of the blueprint.
